About Us
uSnap.us was the winner of Startup Weekend Wellington 2011, an intense 54 hour event where teams compete to build a viable business. Nick and Owen took the idea forward, brought Brock on board, and together have created a fantastic product which has been used at weddings across the globe.
Meet the team
Owen Evans - Co-founder
The idea behind uSnap.us came to Owen whilst taking a bath. He’s the brains behind the iPhone app and uSnap.us strategy. During the day he’s Chief Architect at Xero.
Nick Malcolm - Co-founder
Nick is the voice of uSnap.us, and created the web app. He works at Southgate Labs as a Rails and Android developer.

Brock Abernethy - Lead Designer
Brock makes uSnap.us look pretty. He also plays with crayons at Xero.
We also have Luke Brown as a Board Adviser. Luke, Veronica Pitt and Jacob Creech were team members during the Startup Weekend.
